The Radiation Oncology Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Access to the building is available after-hours for patients of the Billings MRI Center, which occupies the northernmost portion of the Radiation Oncology Center building.
Tours of the Center and its operation are available, and usually last from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the needs, age, and interest level of the tour group. To arrange a tour, phone 248-2212 (in Billings), or 1-800-358-8818.
The Radiation Oncology Center was founded with widespread community and regional support in 1976. The center, owned by St. Vincent Healthcare, is a non-profit organization treating all radiation therapy patients regardless of their ability to pay. We see approximately 650 patients per year from a service area covering 75,000 square miles of central and eastern Montana and northern Wyoming.
The Northern Rockies Radiation Oncology Center has two locations:
1. The original Northern Rockies Radiation Oncology Center at 1041 N. 29th Street in Billings (406-248-2212 or 1-800-358-8818).
2. Branch office and clinic in Cody, WY, a joint venture of the Northern Rockies Radiation Oncology Center and West Park Hospital of Cody (1-800-587-2955).
While the Billings MRI Center is located in the Northern Rockies Radiation Oncology Center building, it is a separate joint venture of the two local hospitals and operates independently.
Donations and contributions from friends and neighbors throughout the region are an important part of the Northern Rockies Radiation Oncology Center's annual budget. Through choosing to share in the Center's mission of care, you can reap the personal satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference in the lives of cancer patients from Billings and the surrounding region. We are very grateful for the support that has come to us throughout our almost thirty-year history from caring friends in Montana, Wyoming, and beyond.
